When I set out to photograph the 2025 People's March D.C. and the restless streets of downtown in the days leading to Inauguration Day, January 20, I didn't know what to expect from the images I'd be taking. It would be a gross oversimplification to say that it was merely the clash of two opposing forces--rather, I found it to be quite a diverse array of ideologies all colliding, swirling, and coexisting in one way or another. The process of taking the images became more than mere documentation work; it felt like I was looking straight into the visceral organs of America's turbulent dynamics.
